fasting

We are looking for people who are currently fasting for religious reasons.

Why?

Your participation in this experiment will help us learn about how decision making mechanisms may or may not be affected by fasting. More information will be provided after the experiment is over.

What?

We are asking you to commit to come in TWICE to a lab at the University of Dundee, once while fasting, and again 1-2 weeks after your first visit.

It involves briefly measuring your blood glucose levels using a safe and harmless, commercially available blood glucose monitor. You will complete a short questionnaire, and then take part in three quick computerised tests.

When?

Currently we are advertising slots for Monday, and will soon advertise more slots of the rest of the week.

The experiment should last about 40-50 minutes.

We will meet you in the main entrance at the time you have signed up for.
